The invitations were lovely. They conveyed the laid-back beach feel of the event perfectly. I was also pleased that we were able to do it in a way that made a minimal impact on the environment. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Having fun, doing good work, making a committment.

Last month I found myself thinking a lot about commitments. I have always given myself to good and responsible design. Then on the fourteenth of July, I gave myself to being with one person for the rest of my life. I got married!

In preparation for our big day, my wife Kate and I wanted to stay committed to our belief in green design, good design, and (since Kate is a full-time PhD student) inexpensive design.

We chose to have our invitations printed on a letterpress. Though not inexpensive, the results were incredibly beautiful — especially on the 100% recycled paper we chose. To offset the cost, our invitations were small and simple. A companion website ... another green means of communication ... provided additional information about us as well as wedding details and links to assist out-of-town guests.

Remember, a commitment to good design and environmental responsibility will pay benefits in the long run.

Contact us and we'll help with your communications by honoring your commitments — and ours!
